Almost at 26 weeks and feeling wonderful. It is very scary knowing that we have about 3 months left of this pregnancy. It flew by in the blink of an eye. We have most of our baby gear ready. We have a new stroller and car seat and a new arms reach co sleeper. I Intend to breastfeed again so this will make nursing a little easier at night. I'm mostly concerned with how Olivia will handle her new baby sister but otherwise, I'm pretty excited. We had our 3D ultrasound last weekend and Sophia was unwilling to participate at first, had her back turned to us and had hiccups. Several minutes in and an 8oz bottle of cold water later she flipped and let is get a few good face shots. She looks a lot like Olivia did as a baby. Very excited to see her in several months.

it is so surreal to say that i am more than half way through my second pregnancy! i have a nice round belly and i only recently started to feel Sophia move around due to an anterior placenta. but she is being more and more active as she is putting on the weight and i completely forgot what this feels like. its sometimes surprising when she kicks because i havent felt that in so long. we have an appointment his saturday, may 3rd, for a 3D ultrasound. I cannot wait to see what her little face looks like. I had a dream the other night where i saw sophia. it was clear as day. she looked like baby olivia, smaller in size but looked so so similar to olivia with a full head of hair. it was crazy.i cannot wait to meet her!

It's a.....
on February 26th, we went to a local ultrasound place to determine the gender of baby #2. It was clear as day when the technician pulled up the potty shot! It's a GIRL! Olivia is having a baby sister. We decided on the name SOPHIA MARIE! absolutely love it. Our registry is pretty much complete. we are very excited to welcome another little princess into the family this year! i feel so blessed!

we've done it again!
Olivia Rose is now two years old and we figured that she deserves a sibling..
Back track almost a year....
We moved from New York Shitty to the beautiful sunny Florida... We bought our first home, a gorgeous 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom two floor home in a lovely community with amazing amenities... Art got a good job working for Ferrari/Maserati.... a baby was next on the agenda..
I got prepared as usual to play the ovulation, waiting, timing game... i was convinced that it would take forever to get pregnant since our journey with olivia was not easy...
after one cycle of trying, i was skeptical and sad and prepared myself for the long haul..
cycle number two rolls around and i felt a little more hopeful.. i didnt stress out as much (but i did stress enough) and just went with the flow more or less even though timing and ovulation and everything was perfect! fast forward 9 days past ovulation and BAM! positive pregnancy test! WHOA! two months!! two months it took! surreal! Olivia was two years in the making! this was a complete shock.. not to mention that i got a positive test so much sooner than i did with Olivia..
I am now 12 weeks along.. have a beautiful little baby baking inside of my belly! i cant believe it! I am being hopeful that it is another little beauty because i really want a sister for Olivia but I will be happy with a little dude too!
I am just happy, excited and blessed to be pregnant and that i get to experience this miracle yet again!
